Paint a Mini Pumpkin in Watercolour

Hello, I'm Emma. I paint botanicals from life in my studio in Worcestershire, and I teach people all over the world to do the same.

October is pumpkin time in my studio. This little one is a lovely way to learn how to paint form: soft highlights, warm shadows and the reflected light that makes it look round enough to pick up. You only need six paints, and we build it up slowly, one section at a time.

Pop your email below and I'll open the full video tutorial for you straight away, with the line drawing and materials list to download. It costs nothing, and you'll also hear from me when new free tutorials and live classes come up.
