Christmas Drummer in Coloured Pencil Part 1
A botanical art tutorial by Emma Tildesley.
This lovely wooden Christmas Drummer is the subject for our coloured pencil tutorial this month.
I planned on using gold leaf for his staff and other gold accents but, I encountered problems during the application. I have a feeling it may have been due to the glue not adhering to the coloured pencil layers properly. So in the end I used a gold water paint called Aqua Bronze.
I hope you enjoy this one and I look forward to seeing all your lovely creations.
