Lotus Seed Pod in Coloured Pencil - Part 1
A botanical art tutorial by Emma Tildesley.
For our first coloured Pencil Tutorial of 2023 we are going to study a Lotus Seed Pod.
This tutorial is great for those of you just getting started in Coloured Pencil. We are using Faber Castell Pencils only in this one. There is lots of layering which will help you get used to maintaining that light pressure. I will show you how to achieve depth in the shadows and we are also using something I never usually use - a blender pencil!
I hope you enjoy this one, Happy creating.
