Ornamental Cabbage Leaf in Watercolour

A botanical art tutorial by Emma Tildesley.

For our watercolour project this month we have a twist on an Autumn leaf with this dried out Ornamental Cabbage Leaf. There is a lovely magenta venation pattern to work across, and a nice deep shadow underneath the curl of the leaf to really give it that three dimensional quality.

Happy Painting!
