Pink Tea Rose in Watercolour - Part 1

A botanical art tutorial by Emma Tildesley.

It's all about Pink Roses this month and our watercolour project is a real beauty. Lots of delicate folds to tackle and some nice spotting detail on the outer petals make this a really fun rose to paint.

Its quite a large project this month so I have split it into three parts to make it easier. Part 1 is the base layers, Part 2 is adjusting the tonal values and the details and, part 3 is the leaves. I hope you enjoy painting this one as much as I did.
