Shiny Rose Leaves in Coloured Pencil Part 1
A botanical art tutorial by Emma Tildesley.
The lovely shiny leaves of this gorgeous Hybrid Tea Rose Rachel are our subject for this months Coloured Pencil tutorial. We will then follow on next month and draw the beautiful bloom.
The plan is to build up a lovely mixed arrangement of different flowers over the coming months so I suggest drawing this on size A3 paper or slightly bigger. However, you are more than welcome to treat this as a stand alone tutorial should you so wish.
You will need a small synthetic brush and a blending stump for blending in this tutorial.
I have included all the colours that you will be using for the leave and the bloom in the materials list, so that you can see what will be needed when we complete the flower next month.
