Watercolour Techniques
A botanical art tutorial by Emma Tildesley.
Lots of you have been asking for a video focused on watercolour techniques. Whist we do have techniques videos on the page, the techniques are spread across multiple videos so I took this as an opportunity to make a more comprehensive video where everything is all together. This is great practice for beginners and also a good refresher to those coming back to watercolour after a break.
The only materials you need for this is your Hot Pressed paper, a number 2 or number 4 pointed round brush, an Eradicator brush, and a green watercolour mix such as Sennelier Yellow Light, French Ultramarine and a tiny touch of Alizarin Crimson. There is no line drawing as we are just using simple leaf shapes.
